Forwards literally shat themselves when they came up against Bobo especially when they were playing for teams who went route 1 in the air. The big man seldom lost an aerial battle.

Roberts is loved at Sunderland, I'm a season ticket holder. He needs the right manager it obvious. For the right manager he's a world beater. But don't be thinking for 1 second we don't love him & want him playing in our starting 11. He suffered with injuries last year. If you look at our form. Without him we dropped like a ton of hot snot.

At Sunderland Patrick had Pritchard Ross Stewart and Dan Neil .. in the second season he had the super fast football brain that is Amad to play with.. But 2023/24 Patrick got injured no Amad Ross Stewart Pritchard and Beale clashed .. So Patrick never got started nand never scored.. He needs top players to keep his game inspirational .. Watch the li nk ups with Pritchard and Amad .. You just can't get that wavelenth from lesser players.. Patrick also needs athe right manager ..

I don't hate Ashley Cole anymore. I used to as a kid, and I was angry when he went to Chelsea because I knew how good he was. We never really replaced him. We had Kieron Gibbs but he was nowhere near the level of Cole. We should have done more to keep him as with him we could have won more. It was painful to see him constantly do well and win things at Chelsea and it was pure spite and jealously from me, which grew the hate I had for him. But as I've gotten older, the anger has subsided and the same goes for Adebayor and Nasri as I've moved on from them and feel Arsenal fans should just move on. I don't want us to end up like Spurs fans who endlessly, endlessly sing songs about Sol Campbell and I just think we should just move on.

Excellent video. The first conclusion I draw is that young professional players should play each game as if it is the last game they will ever play. It is easy to drift into bad habits, gain an injury or allow doubts to grow in a manager's mind. The second conclusion is how too many loan deals can permanently damage a player's career. I would say two years max. The player had great speed and skill. However some of the shots of him playing in Scotland and in the Championship/Division 1 show him being given an amount of space that he wouldn't receive in the EPL. Sounds like he also gave his opponents a lot of space to play in too. Perhaps only a doctor giving Roberts a medical could answer this. Did playing so much as a youngster against bigger and heavier players give him longer term injury problems? The media often measure players by how young they were when first training with or playing for the first team. Often it is better for a player to build up his strength first.

2009/10 was his best season in football, he even missed a few months via an injury and came back like he’d never been out. If you read his book too he left Arsenal cause he was disrespected and even Wenger backed him to not take it. Although I don’t think he thought he’d end up leaving.

What was interesting about this era was it was for a few years at least until he leaked the pie in the sky fantasy about a £750m rebuild of Ibrox to the daily retard the last of David Murray’s great ‘moonbeams’. In the late 90s to this point the gutter press could go a month without a story about David Murray’s ‘blueprints’ or master plans’ and how a host of World Cup or CL winners were winging their way to Govan from GLA. Paul Le Guen seemed like a coup at the time but it’s fair to say that once he wasn’t getting the Lyon and France talent the gutter press was sure would follow him to Glasgow Le Guen was on a hiding to nothing. This is when the tide started to turn though. Murray had to sell the retail side of the business to provide the liquidity for the PLG revolution after a few years of relative austerity. Fast forward a year after this and after the Met raided Ibrox they were hit with the tax bill that became the big tax case and that put paid to rangers being anything like they were in 9ish/advocaat era for a generation. Fast forward to today and you don’t hear that much from SDM anymore. I see his current business is doing ok but we no longer hear about him being Scotlands richest man or most successful businessman. I believe his current outfit have currently less than the £1.2bn assets Murray international had on the books thanks to the banks generosity. It’s hard to say who’s worse off today, Murray whose wealth is estimated at a tenth of its highest figure and has trashed how reputation and legacy after the bank called time on Murray international or the papers that did his cheerleading and don’t sell a tenth of the copies they sold when PLG rocked up to ibrox.

Also the stars didnt align, Guys like McCoist, Gough, Durrant and Brown best days were behind them be the time Brian got to Rangers. Had say Gazza and Brian been there in the start of the 90's. With the three foreigners being Hateley, Gascoigne and Laudrup, I think Rangers would've won the European Cup
